In October, 2004, the Rangers traveled to Boston, Massachusetts, to tour Northeastern University ("NU").  Coach Norm Kerr made made arrangements, which allowed the team to practice at Matthews Arena, the home of the NU Huskies.  The practice was run by the the Huskie's Head Coach, Bruce Crowder.  The team also participated in exhibition games against the Dorchester and South Boston Midget teams.
